who we are
Mercy Haven Farm is a small woman-owned business where my goal is to share God's goodness through food and family. Located near the Blue Ridge Mountains, we enjoy the solitude and rural living found only in tiny towns.
The desire for a milk cow has been a longtime dream and in 2022, our family committed to jump in with both feet. We found a sweet lady with a small farm nearby and went for a visit. We talked and talked and finally decided on Rush, an expectant black Jersey heifer.
When folks heard about our beautiful bovine, we quickly found there were very few local herd share opportunities available. While Mercy Haven Farm will focus on herd shares, my hope is to also offer homebaked goods, fresh garden produce, herbs and seeds.
